Couple Pulse is a relationship app for couples that helps partners feel close between calls, texts, busy days, and distance with heartbeat sharing, daily questions, memories, and widgets. Each of you uses Couple Pulse and joins the same couple space to share answers, drawings, memories and heartbeat moments. How do we start using Couple Pulse together? Download Couple Pulse, set up your couple space and invite your partner. Once you’re linked, try a daily question, draw together or save a memory. Every question is created by professionals and reviewed by a psychometric professional. The questions explore feelings, memories, preferences and relationship details, giving you something specific to talk about together. What kinds of questions and games are included? Explore daily questions, rotating question packs, couple quizzes and games such as “Who’s more likely.” Topics include feelings, shared memories, preferences and the details that help you discover more about each other. Free access includes daily questions and limited quizzes or check-ins; Premium adds more question packs. When can we compare our answers? Compare your responses after both of you have answered. Use the differences and surprises as a starting point for a conversation about what matters to each of you. How is Couple Pulse different from a normal couples app? Couple Pulse is not built around endless chat. It focuses on relationship rituals: heartbeat sharing, questions, quizzes, games like “Who’s more likely,” memories, shared canvas, and widgets that make closeness easier to repeat. ## Shared activities What can we do besides questions and quizzes? Draw together, save photos and favorite moments, set relationship widgets, and save or replay the latest heartbeat recording per person. Premium adds live Heartbeat, full recording history and more widget and drawing options. Can we draw together? Yes. Couple Pulse includes a shared drawing canvas, with drawing included in the free starting experience. Shared drawing widgets can also bring that connection outside the app; additional options are part of Premium. What can we save as memories? Keep meaningful answers, photos, favorite moments and relationship details in your couple space. You can also save a heartbeat with a photo and title as something personal your partner can replay. What do the relationship widgets show? Widgets can show relationship counters, approximate distance between your phones and shared drawings. Free access includes a relationship counter widget; additional widget options are included with Premium. Available widgets depend on your platform and app version. ## Heartbeat sharing Can I send my heartbeat to my partner? Yes. Couple Pulse includes heartbeat sharing for couples who want a more personal way to feel close than sending another message. You can save a recording; live sharing requires Premium. Your linked partner can replay a recording as a haptic pulse. The camera and light detect small changes in your fingertip to estimate the timing of your heartbeat. No extra wearable is needed for the core Couple Pulse experience. The app is designed around the phone and the relationship space shared by both partners. Do I need an Apple Watch to share my heartbeat? No. Couple Pulse does not require an Apple Watch or extra device for heartbeat sharing. No. Couple Pulse is a relationship app, not a medical device or health-monitoring service. Heartbeat sharing is designed for emotional closeness between partners and should not be used for diagnosis, monitoring, emergencies, or health decisions. Estimates may be inaccurate or unavailable. ## Free & Premium What can couples do for free? Couples can start with daily questions, limited quizzes and check-ins, memories, drawing, and a relationship counter widget. Free access includes saving and replaying the latest heartbeat recording per person. Premium adds live heartbeat sharing, full recording history, more question packs, and additional widget and drawing options. Availability differs by platform; check the store listing and in-app purchase details. What does Premium add? Premium adds live heartbeat sharing, full recording history, more question packs and additional widget and drawing options. Plans, prices and billing terms appear in the app before purchase. Do we both need to pay for Premium? One linked partner’s Premium gives both partners access to shared Premium features while you’re linked. The purchase and billing stay with the app-store account that made the purchase. How do I cancel a subscription? Manage or cancel it through the subscription settings of the app-store account used to buy it. Data sent between Couple Pulse and our backend is encrypted in transit using TLS, and data stored in our hosted backend is encrypted at rest using AES-256. HTTPS protects sign-in, uploads and server-function requests. Start with the camera guide: sit or lie comfortably, hold the phone around heart level, cover the active rear camera gently and keep your finger still. Check the red heart while recording.
