### Who this is for

You’re a technical builder who writes code, gets things working and cares about the people using them. You take ownership of a problem, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and follow through to a finished result.

At Couple Space, we’re building Couple Pulse to help two people feel closer. That takes thoughtful product decisions and software that feels simple, personal and reliable. We’re interested in people who can raise that standard.

### What we look for

- **You actively build.** You write and ship code regularly. Show us work you’ve delivered professionally, in open source or through your own projects.
- **You solve hard problems.** You can investigate an unfamiliar system, find the real constraint and explain why your solution works.
- **You own the outcome.** You carry work through implementation, testing and the details that make it useful. You notice what needs fixing and act on it.
- **You have a high bar.** You care about correctness, performance and the small product details people actually feel.
- **You communicate in professional English.** Clear written and spoken English is required for working together remotely.

### Tell us about your hardest problem

Pick the hardest technical problem you’ve personally solved. Give us a concise account of:

1. What made it difficult and what was at stake.
2. What you personally built, investigated or decided.
3. The trade-offs you made, including approaches you ruled out.
4. The result, and how you knew your solution worked.

Be specific about your contribution. We want to understand how you think, how deep you went and what you delivered.
